Terms of Service
Last updated October 18, 2026
1. About these terms
These terms are the agreement between you and MyHomeGame when you use the MyHomeGame website or app. By creating an account or playing, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.
MyHomeGame is software for private home-game clubs. It hosts online card rooms that a club’s organizer sets up and runs for the club’s own members. We provide and host the software; we don’t run the games.
2. Who can use MyHomeGame
- You must be 18 or older.
- You can join a club only when its organizer invites or approves you.
- Your account is for you alone. Don’t share it, sell it, or let anyone else play on it.
- Keep your sign-in details safe, and tell us at support@myhomegame.net if you think someone else has used your account.
- Give accurate details when you sign up, and keep your email address current so we can reach you.
3. Clubs, games and money
Each club is run by its organizer, not by MyHomeGame. The organizer decides who joins, which games run, the stakes and the club’s house rules.
MyHomeGame never holds, moves or pays out players’ money. Chip counts and balances in the app are a record the club keeps. Any money that changes hands between members, or between a member and the club, is settled outside the app and is a matter between them.
We are not a party to any arrangement between a club and its members. We don’t guarantee that anyone will settle what they owe, and we can’t step in to recover money. Disagreements about a club’s games or balances go to the club’s organizer.
4. Following the law where you live
The law on private card games differs from place to place. You and your club are responsible for making sure your games, and any money you play for, are legal where you and your members live. Don’t use MyHomeGame where doing so would break the law.
MyHomeGame offers no legal advice. We may close a club or account if we learn it is being used unlawfully.
5. Fair play
Play fairly and treat other players with respect. You agree not to:
- cheat, including sharing cards or information with other players at your table (collusion);
- let software, bots or another person make decisions for you, apart from the bots a club adds on purpose;
- play from more than one account, or on someone else’s;
- harass, threaten or abuse anyone in chat, or post anything unlawful or hateful;
- try to break into, overload, copy or interfere with the service, or reach other clubs’ information.
A club’s organizer can remove you from their club. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these rules.
6. Club accounts and payment
Players pay MyHomeGame nothing. The club pays for its account, priced by how many players may be online at once. The club’s Account page shows its plan, price and dates.
- A club may start on a free trial. The trial ends on the date shown.
- Payments are made outside the app, in the way shown on the Account page. Fees are not refundable, except where the law requires.
- If a club’s account is overdue, we will remind its organizers. We may suspend the club if it stays unpaid.
- We may change prices. We will tell the club’s organizers at least 30 days before a change applies to them.
7. Closing your account and your information
You can ask us to close your account at any time by writing to support@myhomegame.net. A club’s organizer can remove you from their club, and we can close an account or club that breaks these terms.
When an account closes, your name, email address and profile are removed. Your past hands, results and chat stay under an anonymous label, because they are part of other players’ histories and the club’s records. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
8. The legal part
Provided as is. We work hard to keep MyHomeGame running and fair, but we provide it “as is.” We don’t promise it will always be available, error-free or uninterrupted. A hand interrupted by an outage or a bug is settled under the club’s rules.
Our liability. As far as the law allows, MyHomeGame is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for any money won, lost or owed between players or clubs. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Our content. The software, design and branding are ours. You may use them only to play through the service.
Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of California, USA. Disputes go to the courts of Alameda County, California.
Changes. If we change these terms, we will update the date at the top. If a change matters, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. If you keep using MyHomeGame after that, you accept the new terms.
